Bangkok Thailand: Day 1 @ Asiatique

Just came back from my 5 days 4 nights Bangkok, Thailand business/ shopping trip.
Went to the newly open night market, Asiatique, on the first night.
Asiatique used to be a trading center,
now all the warehouses has turned into one big stylish night market.

The best way to get there is to take BTS and get off at Saphan Taksin station exit #2,
then hop on for the free boat ride.
Go there around evening and enjoy the beautiful sunset on a boat.
The boat runs from 6 pm to 11 pm.

adidas original bloppers behind-the-scene photos

dress + shoes: adidas original, bralet: urban outfitters, necklace: vintage

This is my third outfit for adidas original, however, I am not quite happy with this look, so this isn't published on the campaign booklet.
 Here are some behind-the-scene photos.

I enjoyed shooting for this outfit a lot, ran up and down the hill, trying to capture the perfect flowy maxi dress moment.
What a great work out in the morning.
Unfortunately, the maxi dress was dragging on the ground, which made me uncomfortable,
so I was holding back during the shoot.

Lesson learned: always wear the right outfit, that compliments your body.
And be confident.

summer uniform

tee: adidas original, sneakers: adidas zx, skirt: wet seal, clutch: kate spade, shades: ports

Did another shooting for TICKaLOOK.com few weeks ago, my task was to style 3 outfits with adidas original products.

For the first outfit, I simply pair a body conscious bandage skirt with an adidas original t-shirt and their newest zx sneaker.

Edward isn't too excited for me, he says I pretty much dress like this everyday, not like I'm doing anything special for the shoot. Can't wait till the whole project hits the newsstand in Hong Kong next week, I am going to send him a copy and surprise him.

Other than cut-off denim, body conscious skirt is also my most worn item. It's prefect for the hot summer days, perfect for parties, you just can't go wrong with it.

Just find this interesting. I am slowly getting used to the attention I receive when I take my photos.

diy fortune cookies

March 14th is the Asian Valentine's day, we call it White Valentine's day.
You have to return the flavor to the person who open up to you on February 14th.

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up soon as well, so I will be sending him a care package.
To make the package more personal, I like to make him some arts and crafts.
Last year, I made him the Doodle Jump toy set, this time, I will be making fortune cookie with felt.
This would be the perfect Valentine's day or birthday gift.

cut felt into circle and glue wire in the center.

glue ribbon on top to cover the wire.

write sweet personal message on a white ribbon.

sew your felt together, leaving the ends open.

insert your message ribbon. bend the wire.
viola! handmade, non-edible fortune cookie is "baked" !

To make a box for the fortune cookie, find your desire take out box template online.
Print the template on a piece of scrap paper, then place it on top of the colored paper.
keep them in place with clips and cut it with a cutter and ruler.
tips: trace the folding lines with a scissor, it will be easier to fold.

personalize your take out box.

glue the sides together.

believe in fairy tale

top and dress: b+ab rouge, headband: forever XXI, sandals: steve madden

There are nothing wrong with believing in fairy tales, it gives me a sense of hope and motivates me to work harder towards my goal.  Recently add this delicate gold ring from Disney Couture to my jewelry collection, the scripted "believe" is like a tattoo on my finger, constantly reminds me not to give up in my dream.

runaway bride

dress and jacket: b+ab, shoes: finsk

Yesterday morning, I had a causal yet fun photoshoot with two girls for TICKaLOOK.com. I like how they have different style than me, and have me go out of my comfort zone. Normally, I would pair a little black dress with a classic black pump to opt for a sophisticated look. Instead, they suggested me to wear these diamond heel boots from Finsk. I got these ages ago, for the sake of its funky heels, and only wore them on Halloween as an unicorn.Surprisingly, these babies give my LBD a little twist, do you like it?

And big thanks to our friend, who is a video director, for taking his time out and shoot these gorgeous photos. He works his little magic, turns a dirty alley into a runway, makes me look so tall and slender, no photoshopping needed. Amazing !
